Sequel of Ragini MMS planned in 3D
MUMBAI: Going by the success of the paranormal thriller Ragini MMS, Ekta Kapoor is mulling with the idea for a sequel of the film.
Ragini MMS 2 will have the same star cast and also explain the events that led to the Maharashtrian lady being called a chudail (witch) and blamed for the death of her family. Besides, the film will follow up on Ragini and Uday‘s story.
Kapoor, who is also toying with the idea of making it in 3D, has said that the film would go on the floors by the year-end.
It mat be recalled that the real Ragini, whose MMS scandal was the trigger of the first part, was threatening to sue Ekta before the release due to apprehension that the sex scenes would be associated with her.

The list, available exclusively on the IMDb app for Android and iOS, tracks trending Indian entertainers and filmmakers each week, drawing on data from more than 200m monthly visits to the platform worldwide.
Further down the rankings, Raaka is keeping two of its biggest names in the spotlight. Deepika Padukone holds 11th position, with Allu Arjun close behind at 13th, as the film continues to find traction with audiences.
