Rashmika Mandanna’s Mysaa to release worldwide on November 27
Action thriller unveils first poster as Mandanna takes on an intense tribal-set role
MUMBAI: Rashmika Mandanna is bringing the heat and this time, she is bringing a weapon too. The actor has unveiled the first poster of her upcoming action thriller Mysaa along with its worldwide theatrical release date, with the film set to hit cinemas on November 27, 2026.
Directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced under Unformula Films, Mysaa presents Mandanna in a rugged and intense avatar. The newly released poster shows the actor covered in dirt and blood, gripping a weapon and staring ahead with a fierce expression, signalling a sharp departure from her more familiar on-screen image.
Mandanna accompanied the poster with a character note packed with rage, pain, grief, courage and power, describing Mysaa as a “storm” audiences will not anticipate.
Set against tribal backdrops, the film is being positioned as an emotional action drama, with much of the curiosity surrounding Mandanna’s physical transformation and demanding action schedules. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music, while post-production and VFX work are currently under way.
The release announcement also comes after Mandanna recently opened up about an injury she suffered while filming a dance sequence for Mysaa. She revealed that a tendon in her right hip had detached, forcing her to take time away from her regular work schedule.
Calling it her third injury back-to-back, the actor had previously said the experience made her realise she needed to treat her body “like a human body and not some machine”.
Despite the setback, Mysaa is now moving towards its theatrical date, with the film scheduled for a worldwide release on November 27.
Mandanna has another major release lined up shortly before that. She will star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The Telugu period drama is set during the British Raj and draws on lesser-known chapters of Indian history through a fictional story.
Ranabaali is scheduled to release worldwide on October 16, putting Mandanna on screens twice in the space of just over a month, first in a period drama and then in an action thriller that promises considerably more dirt, blood and fury.
