NEW DELHI: Higgsfield’s valuation has taken a giant leap. The AI startup is now valued at $5.4 billion after raising $400 million in its latest funding round, quadrupling its valuation in about six months as demand for AI-generated marketing and media content accelerates, according to a Reuters report.

DST Capital led the Series B round, with participation from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Tribe Capital and Intel Capital, among others. Existing investors including Accel, Menlo Ventures and GFT Ventures also participated.

The latest fundraise marks a sharp increase from January, when Higgsfield was valued at more than $1.3 billion after raising over $130 million across its Series A financing rounds.

The company said its annualised revenue reached $700 million this month, underlining the rapid growth of demand for AI-powered content creation tools.

Higgsfield operates an AI-native platform designed for creators, marketers and studios. Its product portfolio includes Soul 2.0, an image-generation tool, and Keyframes, which helps users create storyboards.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand global sales and management operations while investing in infrastructure, research and hiring.

Its enterprise customer base spans advertising and marketing, entertainment and broadcasting, among other sectors, highlighting the growing use of generative AI beyond individual creators.

Higgsfield said its global user base has doubled since January to more than 30 million, giving the company a rapidly expanding audience for its AI-powered creative tools.

The funding comes as businesses and media companies increasingly experiment with AI-generated images, video and other marketing assets to speed up production and reduce content creation costs.

For Higgsfield, the combination of surging revenue, a rapidly expanding user base and growing enterprise demand has translated into a striking rise in investor confidence.

The fourfold valuation jump in just six months underscores how quickly the market for AI-generated media is evolving, with startups that can turn generative technology into commercial creative tools attracting increasingly large pools of capital.
