Bhansali making action film Rowdy Rathod

MUMBAI: Deviating from soft romantic films which he is well-known for, producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has turned to making an action movie Titled Rowdy Rathod, the film will be directed by Prabhu Deva and have Akshay Kumar in the lead.

“For me, an action film is totally an alien concept. At this juncture as a filmmaker, I want to move out of the comfort zone and do things
that are new and untried,” avers Bhansali.

Deva plans to break the stereotypical boundaries of the action genre by incorporating his choreographic skills into action sequences in the
film.
