Yash Raj Films names Arjun Banerji as head of talent

MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films has appointed Arjun Banerji as head of talent, adding another experienced industry hand to its growing creator and artist management ecosystem, according to media reports.

Banerji joins the studio after a long stint in talent management and entertainment partnerships, most recently serving as a talent agent at Collective Artists Network, one of India’s leading creator and celebrity management firms.

With more than a decade of experience across artist management, live entertainment and celebrity-led businesses, Banerji is expected to play a key role in expanding Yash Raj Films’ talent strategy at a time when studios are increasingly building integrated creator ecosystems that extend beyond films alone.

Before joining Collective Artists Network in 2023, Banerji spent six years at Exceed Entertainment, where he served as head of talent and new ventures. During his tenure, he worked across celebrity management, partnerships and business expansion initiatives in the entertainment space.

He had earlier also led the live business division at Exceed Entertainment, managing artist-led events and entertainment experiences.

Banerji began his career in talent management with KWAN Entertainment and Marketing Solutions, where he handled celebrity profiles, talent relations and live event collaborations.

An alumnus of The Scindia School and St. Xavier’s College Mumbai, Banerji holds a diploma in film and television studies.

The appointment reflects the growing importance of talent management within the entertainment business, as production houses increasingly look to build deeper relationships with actors, creators and digital personalities across platforms.

For Yash Raj Films, the move signals a sharper focus on building a more structured talent and creator ecosystem as the studio continues to expand across films, streaming content and celebrity-led ventures.
