WPP Media elevates Jaison Dsouza to senior director
Digital advertising veteran steps up after leadership stints at IPG and Omnicom
BENGALURU: WPP Media has elevated Jaison Dsouza to the role of senior director, marking another milestone in a digital advertising career that spans nearly two decades across operations, media strategy and client leadership.
Dsouza shared the update through a LinkedIn post, thanking the leadership team for their guidance and support through his journey at the company. “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been promoted to senior director in WPP Media,” he wrote, while also acknowledging Girish Menon, Dhiraj Kumar and Akshey Bhat for their mentorship.
The promotion comes after Dsouza spent over three-and-a-half years at WPP Media, where he most recently served as director – digital. In that role, he led teams across search, social, programmatic and ad operations while overseeing media planning, campaign optimisation, stakeholder management and automation initiatives.
Before joining WPP Media in 2022, Dsouza had a brief but notable stint at Initiative, part of The Interpublic Group of Companies, where he worked as global operations director. There, he handled media planning strategy, ad operations and execution across digital channels.
Prior to that, he spent close to three years at Omnicom Media Group in leadership roles including agency engagement manager and delivery manager. His responsibilities ranged from governance and compliance to client engagement, transition planning and operational strategy for teams handling display, search, social and programmatic advertising.
A significant part of his professional journey was shaped at Infosys BPM, where he spent over 13 years steadily climbing the ladder from process executive to operations manager. During his tenure, he managed large teams across digital marketing, customer support, procurement and advertising operations, while also driving process improvement and quality management initiatives.
Alongside his industry experience, Dsouza has pursued executive education in organisational leadership from GlobalNxt University and holds a PGDBA in operations from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.
With agencies doubling down on integrated digital media and performance-led campaigns, Dsouza’s elevation signals WPP Media’s continued focus on strengthening leadership talent from within. For the Bengaluru-based executive, the new role appears to be less of a destination and more of another campaign ready for launch.
