Sudha Wadhwa joins AdCounty Media as national business growth head
Eighteen years into a career built on agency relationships and adtech monetisation, wadhwa takes on a national mandate spanning India, Dubai and beyond
GURUGRAM: Eighteen years in adtech sales teaches you one thing above all: relationships outlast platforms. Sudha Wadhwa has spent nearly two decades proving it, moving from print to programmatic without ever losing the agency contacts that made each jump possible. This month she adds another chapter, joining AdCounty Media India as national head of business growth, a national-level mandate covering India with the brief extending, in her own words, across India, Dubai and beyond.
The move continues a career built almost entirely on business growth and partnerships roles at India’s adtech and digital media firms. Before AdCounty, Wadhwa spent a brief stint as senior director for APAC growth orchestration at Kertoa, working remotely from Wales on programmatic optimisation partnerships between March and May 2026. That followed a longer run at Vertoz, where she led business growth across north and east India from June 2024, carrying end-to-end profit and loss responsibility of Rs 40 to 50 crore annually and driving what she describes as consistent double-digit revenue growth through agency alliances and C-level relationships.
Her earlier career reads like a tour of India’s digital advertising evolution. At Bobble AI, she led business growth for an AI-powered keyboard and adtech product between 2021 and 2024, positioning the company as a preferred advertising platform among major agencies. Before that came four and a half years at KeyPoint Technologies, where she managed advertising sales for the Xploree Keyboard, secured partnerships with more than 100 brands and agencies, and helped pioneer a monetisation model for in-app advertising that lifted engagement metrics by more than 40 per cent. Earlier still, stints in e-commerce and media sales at Infomedia18, PVR and Komli Media, followed by an education officer role at Hindustan Times, rounded out a career that has touched print, cinema, e-commerce and mobile advertising in roughly that order.
What ties the whole trajectory together is a consistent thesis: sustainable growth comes down to strong relationships, differentiated solutions and consistent execution, as Wadhwa herself put it on announcing the move. AdCounty gets a leader who has built sales pipelines from scratch at four different companies and mentored regional teams at each stop. For an adtech player looking to deepen its footprint across Indian agencies and expand into markets like Dubai, that is exactly the kind of institutional relationship capital that takes years to build and cannot simply be hired in from a job board.
