Six Fields wins five medals at World Beer Awards 2026
Six Fields Brute takes Gold and Country Winner title in International Lager
NEW DELHI: Six Fields is raising a toast to a five-medal haul. The premium beer brand from DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd. has secured five medals across three beer styles at the 2026 World Beer Awards in the UK, including a Gold Medal and Country Winner title for Six Fields Brute.
Brute won Gold in the International Lager category and was also named Country Winner, making it the standout entry among Six Fields’ submissions at this year’s competition.
The brand’s other entries also picked up honours. Six Fields Cult won Silver in the Belgian Style Witbier category, while Six Fields Blanche and Six Fields Pilsner each secured Bronze medals in Belgian Style Witbier and Hoppy Pilsner, respectively.
The winning entries were:
- Six Fields Brute: International Lager, Gold and Country Winner
- Six Fields Cult: Belgian Style Witbier, Silver
- Six Fields Blanche: Belgian Style Witbier, Bronze
- Six Fields Pilsner: Hoppy Pilsner, Bronze
The results highlight the growing variety of styles being produced and recognised within India’s beer market. While strong beers and conventional lagers continue to dominate the country’s beer landscape, the recognition of Indian entries in categories such as Belgian-style witbier and hoppy pilsner points to a wider international appetite for differentiated beer styles from India.
Six Fields’ performance across International Lager, Belgian-style witbier and Hoppy Pilsner also reflects the brand’s attempt to offer consumers a broader range of flavours and brewing styles.
The Silver win for Six Fields Cult and Bronze for Six Fields Blanche in the Belgian Style Witbier category further underline the brand’s performance beyond the traditional lager segment. Six Fields Pilsner’s Bronze adds another medal in a hop-forward category.
DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd.’s chairman and managing director, Prem Dewan, said, “Five medals across three distinct beer styles, including Gold and Country Winner recognition for Six Fields Brute, is a strong validation of the excellent quality of our beers.”
Dewan said Indian beer consumers are becoming more curious about styles, flavours and the overall drinking experience, adding that DeVANS is responding by expanding its offering across beer styles.
The World Beer Awards recognition gives Six Fields another marker of its premium positioning, while its spread across three distinct styles suggests the brand is looking beyond a single beer profile. For an Indian beer brand, the five-medal haul offers a strong global stamp of approval as tastes at home continue to broaden.
