Simple Hai! Show marks 100 episodes with financial sector leaders at NSE
OneNative Studio launches a coffee-table book celebrating 100 episodes and investing wisdom
MUMBAI: One hundred episodes, countless money lessons and one rather fitting venue. The Simple Hai! Show with Vivek Law celebrated its 100th episode at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Atrium in Mumbai on August 21, bringing together prominent names from India’s financial services and investment ecosystem.
The milestone event, hosted by OneNative Studio, also saw the launch of Sau Baat Ki Ek Kitaab, a specially curated coffee-table book featuring investing insights and perspectives from selected guests who have appeared on the show.
The evening opened with the ringing of the NSE Bell by Ashish Chauhan, managing director of the National Stock Exchange of India, alongside several guests associated with the show. Abhishek Karnani, president of The Free Press Journal, which is the show’s distribution partner, also attended the celebration.
The new book brings together selected investing lessons from the show’s guests, offering a snapshot of ideas shaping India’s financial and investment landscape. OneNative Studio said the publication has been designed to make these insights accessible beyond the podcast format.
The guest list reflected the breadth of the show’s financial network. It included Nilesh Shah, managing director of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management; Swarup Mohanty, CEO of Mirae Asset Investment Managers; Navneet Munot, managing director of HDFC Asset Management; and A. Balasubramanian, managing director and CEO of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC.
Other financial sector leaders at the event included Aashish Somaiyaa, CEO of WhiteOak Capital Asset Management; Anthony Heredia, managing director and CEO of Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund; Roopa Venkatkrishnan, director at Sapient Wealth; and Kurian Jose, CEO of Tata Pension Fund.
The gathering also included business and wealth management leaders such as Akhil Chaturvedi, chief business officer at Motilal Oswal; Vikas Satija, managing director and CEO of Shriram Wealth; Vikaas Sachdeva, CEO of BitDelta India; Mahendra Luniya, founder and CEO of Vighnaharta Gold; Tanul Mishra, CEO of Afthonia Labs; and Sunil Rohokale, CEO and managing director of ASK Wealth Management.
The celebrations moved beyond finance, with a performance by mentalist Vinay Kapra followed by a discussion on the potential and implications of artificial intelligence in the years ahead.
For OneNative Studio, the 100-episode mark is also a statement of intent. Co-founders Aparna Joshi, Harish Patil and Deepak Karnani, along with chief growth officer Sanat Mishra, reaffirmed the studio’s focus on financial literacy and its plans to develop formats that make complex subjects easier to understand.
Since its launch, The Simple Hai! Show has aimed to simplify conversations around money and investing by bringing investors, fund managers, entrepreneurs, economists and financial experts into accessible discussions. Across 100 episodes, the show has sought to connect industry expertise with the everyday questions faced by investors.
The milestone therefore represents more than a podcast hitting a round number. It reflects the growing appetite for clear, credible financial conversations as more Indians participate in the investment ecosystem.
With its first century of episodes complete, The Simple Hai! Show is now turning the page, with OneNative Studio looking to make financial literacy more accessible while keeping the conversations, in true Simple Hai! fashion, simple.
