Schneider Electric elevates Ratnesh Pandey to lead India marketing function
Pandey will drive brand, digital engagement and customer experience across India
MUMBAI: Schneider Electric is putting a fresh charge into its India marketing function.
Schneider Electric has elevated Ratnesh Pandey to vice president, marketing, Schneider Electric India, effective August 1, 2026.
Pandey will lead the company’s marketing agenda in India, overseeing brand strategy, integrated marketing, digital engagement, customer experience and commercial excellence. He will also focus on strengthening Schneider Electric’s market position and creating greater customer value as India moves towards a more digital, electric and sustainable future.
Commenting on the elevation, Schneider Electric India zone president, Greater India, managing director and chief executive officer, Deepak Sharma said marketing would be central to shaping customer value, market leadership and business growth.
“Ratnesh brings a strong track record of building brands, driving transformation and translating business strategy into market impact. His leadership will help strengthen our customer connect and help us Advance Energy Tech across India,” said Sharma.
Pandey brings more than 17 years of experience across brand management, digital transformation, strategic marketing and communications, including nearly 12 years within the Schneider Electric ecosystem.
Before his elevation, he served as director and head, marketing and communications, at Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, part of the Schneider Electric group in India. He led the brand’s migration and launch across India, the Middle East and Africa, while also expanding its visibility through consumer engagement platforms.
One of the prominent initiatives during his tenure was the brand’s association with Mumbai Indians as principal partner.
Pandey has also led marketing initiatives spanning consumer and retail businesses, sustainability, energy management software, buildings, home automation and strategic growth programmes. His experience covers B2B and B2C marketing, customer and channel engagement, brand transformation and technology-led communications.
Speaking on his elevation, Pandey said India’s growth was increasingly being driven by electrification, digitalisation and sustainability.
“As we advance energy technology to help customers become more efficient, resilient and sustainable, our focus will be on building deeper engagement, stronger market relevance and measurable business outcomes,” said Pandey.
Before joining Schneider Electric, Pandey held marketing and brand management roles at HCL Infosystems and Digitas India, working across technology, financial services and consumer sectors.
He has also completed executive leadership programmes at HEC Paris and INSEAD.
With Pandey now leading the function, Schneider Electric is looking to sharpen the connection between its technology-led proposition and the changing needs of Indian customers, while supporting its broader growth ambitions in the market.
