Rugby World Cup gets new sponsor Lloyds TSB

LONDON: Financial service provider Lloyds TSB has announced a partnership with Rugby World Cup Ltd. As per this the company has become a sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2003 Australia which takes place from 10 October till 22 November.

An official release informs that the new alliance strengthens Lloyds TSB’s association with the sport which spans many years. The partnership adds to Lloyds TSB’s portfolio in British rugby. Lloyds TSB’s investment at international and grassroots rugby level spans six years.

Following their successful title sponsorship of the Five and Six Nations Championship and Rugby World Cup 1999, Lloyds TSB are now club sponsor of the Barbarians FC and are also official partners to the Welsh Rugby Union and Scottish Rugby Union.
