Razorpay promotes Anushka Braganza to associate director – brand marketing
The fintech company expands Anushka Braganza’s role across payment gateway branding
BENGALURU – Razorpay is giving its brand playbook a fresh boost with a familiar face stepping into a bigger leadership role. Anushka Braganza has been promoted to associate director – brand marketing at Razorpay, expanding her responsibilities across payment gateway branding and strategic partnerships.
Braganza has been part of Razorpay for over four years and most recently served as senior brand manager for the company’s payment gateway business. During her tenure, she led brand strategy, go-to-market initiatives and marketing campaigns focused on strengthening Razorpay’s positioning in the highly competitive fintech landscape. Before that, she worked as brand manager for the payment gateway division, where she handled product launches and integrated communication strategies aimed at driving business growth and customer engagement.
Announcing the move, Razorpay associate director – brand marketing Anushka Braganza shared that she is excited to begin her new role at the company.
Prior to joining Razorpay, Braganza worked at Mobile Premier League as brand manager, overseeing campaigns and product marketing initiatives for gaming products. Her role involved managing brand communications across multiple consumer touchpoints and driving visibility for new launches. She also spent six years at Sideways Consulting, where she rose from account manager to business lead and founding member. There, she worked on brand strategy, communication, product design and UI/UX projects for major consumer brands including Urban Company, Borosil, Imagica and MyGlamm.
Earlier in her career, Braganza worked at Ogilvy & Mather as assistant account executive after beginning as an intern. During her agency stint, she contributed to campaigns spanning print, radio and cinema advertising for brands across sectors including retail, sports and consumer products.
A graduate of Goa University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Braganza has built a career spanning fintech, gaming, advertising and brand consulting.
Her elevation comes at a time when fintech firms are increasingly investing in sharper brand storytelling and consumer engagement as competition intensifies across India’s digital payments ecosystem.
