PwC India & Questt AI partner to build enterprise AI ‘digital brain’ with new platform

Alliance deploys Intelligence Warehouse to give AI agents trusted business context at scale

GURUGRAM: Building better AI is no longer just about bigger brains. It is about better memory. That is the thinking behind a new partnership between PwC India and Questt AI, which aims to help businesses create a trusted knowledge foundation for artificial intelligence through Questt AI’s Intelligence Warehouse (IW) platform.

The collaboration will deploy Questt AI’s Intelligence Warehouse to create what the companies describe as a “digital brain” for enterprises. The platform is designed to give AI agents access to an organisation’s processes, decision-making frameworks and institutional knowledge, allowing them to generate responses and take actions based on how a business actually operates rather than relying solely on raw data or generic AI models.

The move comes as enterprises increasingly shift from experimenting with generative AI to deploying AI agents that can automate business processes. While AI models have become more capable, organisations often struggle to provide them with the business context needed to make reliable decisions. Information is typically spread across multiple systems, documents and employees, limiting AI’s effectiveness.

The Intelligence Warehouse platform aims to address this by creating a persistent, governed layer of organisational knowledge that brings together business rules, operational processes, historical decisions and institutional expertise into a structured format that AI agents can query.

“AI agents need more than access to data. They need an understanding of how the enterprise actually operates,” said PwC India partner and leader, One Consulting, Sanjay Dawar. He said the partnership would help organisations create a trusted layer of organisational intelligence that enables AI agents to deliver more accurate, consistent and reliable outcomes.

Beyond deploying the technology, PwC India will work with enterprises to capture institutional knowledge from business leaders and subject matter experts, align it with industry-specific requirements and redesign workflows to support AI-led operations rather than simply adding AI to existing processes.

According to PwC India partner, AI Advisory, Sachin Arora, AI agents require more than enterprise data to make business-critical decisions. They also need access to the reasoning, context and institutional memory behind those decisions. Without that foundation, he said, AI systems are more likely to produce inaccurate or unreliable results.

For Questt AI, the platform is intended to bridge the gap between advanced AI models and enterprise knowledge that often resides with experienced employees rather than in digital systems.

“We built IW because the models are already smart enough. What’s been missing is the context, the way a specific company actually operates,” said Questt AI founder and chief executive officer, Akhil Singh. He added that the partnership with PwC India would help organisations build an enterprise-wide knowledge base in weeks, allowing every AI agent deployed by the company to inherit that organisational intelligence from day one.

The companies said the partnership combines PwC India’s consulting and transformation expertise across finance, supply chain, marketing and operations with Questt AI’s technology platform to help organisations govern enterprise knowledge at scale and accelerate AI adoption with greater confidence.

As businesses move beyond AI pilots to large-scale deployment, the partnership reflects a growing industry focus on giving AI systems not just intelligence, but the business context needed to make that intelligence useful.
