PUMA celebrates RCB’s back-to-back IPL titles with Kohli & Patidar tribute
New campaign honours RCB’s second straight title with stars, stories and fan moments
BENGALURU: Two titles, two stars and a city still celebrating. As fans continued to revel in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s second consecutive IPL triumph, PUMA India marked the occasion with a striking visual tribute featuring Virat Kohli and captain Rajat Patidar carrying giant golden stars, symbolising the franchise’s back-to-back championship victories.
Released shortly after RCB’s victory over Gujarat in the IPL 2026 final, the image quickly gained traction among fans, with each star representing a title-winning chapter in the club’s history. The campaign, titled Good Things Come in Pairs, also features Jacob Bethell and celebrates a team that has cemented its place among Indian cricket’s modern powerhouses.
The tribute arrives at a landmark moment for the Bengaluru franchise. With consecutive IPL titles and two Women’s Premier League crowns, RCB has evolved from one of the tournament’s most passionately followed teams into one of its most successful.
PUMA’s creative centres on more than just silverware. The campaign highlights the journey of a club that has built a deep connection with its supporters over the years, rewarding that loyalty with an era of sustained success.
Adding to the celebrations, PUMA released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Kohli, Patidar and Bethell sharing light-hearted moments from within the champions’ camp. The brand has also launched a special PUMA x RCB Champions Tee, allowing fans to commemorate the team’s latest achievement.
The tribute is the latest chapter in a partnership between PUMA and RCB that has stretched beyond traditional sponsorship. Over the past five years, the sportswear brand has consistently sought to embed the franchise into wider sports and youth culture through fan-led activations and collaborations.
This season, PUMA’s #RCBEverywhere campaign extended the club’s presence beyond cricket. Initiatives included collaborations with AC Milan and a crossover featuring sprinting legend Usain Bolt, bringing RCB into conversations across global sport.
The company has also invested heavily in digital engagement through its dedicated RCB Instagram Broadcast Channel, offering supporters exclusive content, merchandise launches, giveaways and behind-the-scenes access throughout the season.
The numbers reflect the scale of that fandom. RCB now boasts more than 42 million followers across social media platforms, including a franchise-leading 24.4 million followers on Instagram. The team also remains the most searched IPL franchise on Google, underlining its enduring popularity.
For PUMA, the campaign is about more than celebrating a title. It is a nod to a fanbase that waited years for success and is now watching its team build a dynasty. As RCB adds another star to its crest, the brand is ensuring supporters have plenty of ways to wear, share and relive the moment.
