Publicis PDX India appoints Prashant Sukhwani as managing partner, social
Sukhwani joins from Burger King India as agency expands AI-led creator marketing
MUMBAI: Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) India is putting more muscle behind social, appointing Prashant Sukhwani as managing partner, social, as the agency expands its AI, data and creator-led marketing capabilities.
Sukhwani will lead Social @ PDX India, the agency’s dedicated social practice, and will work closely with Amaresh Godbole, CEO, PDX India and chief AI experiences and solutions, Publicis Groupe India.
In his new role, Sukhwani will work with brands on integrated strategies spanning social media, creators, content, search and performance marketing. The appointment comes as PDX India looks to build AI-powered and data-led social solutions that connect marketing activity more directly with business outcomes.
Sukhwani brings more than 16 years of experience across consumer-facing businesses, including ITC, Bunge and Burger King India. Most recently, he was vice president, marketing, at Burger King India, where he led the brand’s digital-first marketing transformation.
At Burger King India, Sukhwani worked across brand, content, media, CRM and performance marketing while also strengthening the company’s first-party data capabilities.
His move to PDX India comes as brands increasingly look to social platforms not just for visibility but also for discovery, engagement and measurable growth. The agency’s social practice is designed to bring these pieces together, using AI and data alongside creator and cultural insights.
Social @ PDX India is powered by Publicis Groupe’s Connected Identity solution, which provides a unified view of consumers across media, creative, content, commerce, CRM and influencer marketing while maintaining privacy compliance.
The practice also draws on Publicis Groupe’s partnership with Influential India, combining AI, people-based intelligence and cultural insights with creator marketing.
Social @ PDX India is one of the agency’s three core solution practices. It focuses on helping brands spot emerging cultural trends, respond to real-time marketing opportunities and turn social engagement into business growth.
With Sukhwani at the helm, PDX India is betting that the next phase of social marketing will be less about simply being seen and more about making every interaction count.
