Prativa Mohapatra exits Adobe India after nearly five years
Tech industry veteran says she will take a break before her next move.
MUMBAI: Prativa Mohapatra is closing one browser tab before opening the next. The Adobe India leader has announced her departure from the company after nearly five years, signalling the end of a tenure that coincided with a period of rapid digital transformation, enterprise technology adoption and the rise of artificial intelligence across industries. Mohapatra shared the update through a LinkedIn post, saying she would be “switching gears” and taking a pause before embarking on a new professional journey.
“After a very fulfilling nearly 5 years at Adobe India, it’s time to move on,” she wrote, thanking customers, partners, colleagues and stakeholders for their support during her tenure.
Her exit comes at a pivotal moment for Adobe globally, as the software giant continues to deepen its focus on AI-powered products and experiences across its Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud and Document Cloud businesses. India has remained a strategically important market for the company, contributing not only to business growth but also to global product development initiatives.
During her stint, Mohapatra led Adobe India’s operations and played a key role in driving enterprise engagement, market expansion and digital transformation conversations across industries. She also became a prominent voice at industry forums, speaking on themes ranging from marketing technology and customer experience to artificial intelligence and business innovation.
Before joining Adobe, Mohapatra built a distinguished career at IBM, where she held several senior leadership roles, including vice president of digital dales for the Asia-Pacific region. Across a career spanning more than two decades, she has worked at the intersection of enterprise technology, digital sales and large-scale business transformation.
While Mohapatra has not disclosed details of her next assignment, her message suggests a brief pause before the next chapter begins. For now, one of India’s most recognised technology leaders is taking a moment to refresh proof that even in the always-on digital world, sometimes the most strategic move is to hit refresh before loading the next page.
