PR Professionals wins PR mandate of Satcom Industry Association India
Mumbai: Homegrown public relations consultancy firm PR Professionals, flagship of PRP Group, has bagged the public relations mandate of Satcom Industry Association (SIA) India, in a multi-agency pitch.
SIA-India, which is the apex representative body for the satellite communications ecosystem in the country has entrusted PR Professionals to amplify its key messages, ideas, and vision that represent the interests of the communication satellite ecosystem in India to the government, regulators, policymakers, and domestic and international standards bodies and the general public, said the statement.
SIA’s vision is to provide a platform for thought leadership for the industry on new policy, regulatory issues, and spectrum matters pertaining to the space and satellite industry. The association represents the Indian satellite industry to the government [central and state] and various relevant departments (DOS, IN-SPACE, and relevant ministries), it added.
“We believe it is the right time to communicate our objectives and vision that represent the interest of our members at the highest levels of Government in policymaking and dealing with regulatory issues,” said SIA-India director-general Anil Prakash. “We look forward to working closely with PR Professionals and amplifying our ideas and dialogues to a larger audience to help and support the creation of a conducive environment that maximizes the long-term benefit to the satellite industry at large.”
India is a leading player in the global satellite communications industry, and now PR Professionals aims to help SIA-India to put the industry’s concerns and opinions to a broader audience base to unlock huge opportunities for investments and developments in this space, said the statement.
