MUMBAI: Health may be wealth, but for Procter & Gamble Health, it is also proving to be good business. Riding a wave of demand for vitamins and nutritional supplements, the company delivered another quarter of steady growth, while a one-time asset sale gave its profit an extra shot in the arm.

Procter & Gamble Health Ltd. (PGHL) reported a 7 per cent year-on-year increase in sales to Rs 356 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, while reported profit after tax (PAT) surged 45 per cent to Rs 96 crore.

The maker of brands including Neurobion, Livogen and SevenSeas said revenue growth was driven by resilient consumer demand, stronger retail execution and encouraging response to new product launches.

The sharp rise in reported profit was supported by higher sales, improved supply chain and go-to-market capabilities, along with one-time proceeds from the sale of an immovable asset. Excluding the exceptional gain, operational PAT stood at Rs 72 crore, marking a 9 per cent increase over the corresponding quarter last year.

Managing Director Milind Thatte said the company had entered FY27 with strong momentum, supported by science-backed product innovations, new communication initiatives and investments in its distribution and supply chain network.

The results come as parent company Procter & Gamble steps up its global healthcare ambitions. Earlier this month, P&G agreed to acquire wellness brand Thorne, strengthening its presence in personalised health and nutritional supplements.

The move underlines the multinational’s growing focus on preventive healthcare and science-backed wellness solutions, a strategy that closely aligns with P&G Health India’s portfolio of vitamins, minerals and supplements. As Indian consumers continue to prioritise nutrition and preventive care, the company’s established brands and steady financial performance position it to benefit from the category’s long-term growth.
