Palmonas takes its demi-fine jewellery global with UAE store debut
India’s first demi-fine label opens at Reem Mall, with a second UAE store lined up by month-end
UAE: Palmonas is going global, and the Gulf is first stop. India’s pioneering demi-fine jewellery brand has thrown open its first international store, a standalone outpost at Abu Dhabi’s Reem Mall, marking its retail debut outside home turf. A second store at Mall of the Emirates is already lined up, expected to open by the end of the month.
Both stores are run directly by the brand and stock its signature demi-fine line alongside 9kt gold, 925 sterling silver and other categories, built to give customers the full Palmonas experience rather than a stripped-down export version.
Pallavi Mohadikar, founder and chief executive of Palmonas, called the launch a proud milestone in the brand’s growth story and a shot at taking an Indian-born label onto the global stage. She credited organic demand from the UAE for making the expansion feel less like a gamble and more like the next logical step, adding that the brand was keen to build deeper ties with a community that had backed it from a distance.
The choice of market is no accident. The UAE’s standing as a global luxury retail hub, paired with its multicultural consumer base and appetite for premium design and craftsmanship, makes it fertile ground for a contemporary demi-fine proposition to find its footing.
Shoppers can browse Palmonas’ collections in person at Reem Mall and, soon, Mall of the Emirates, or online at palmonas.com. With two stores landing in one month, Palmonas isn’t dipping a toe into the UAE, it’s diving straight in.
