MUMBAI – Fashion is entering the gaming lobby. OWND! has teamed up with Payal Gaming to launch ‘Gamer Drop’, a creator-led campaign and fashion capsule that brings gaming culture into everyday streetwear.

Billed as one of India’s first gamer-curated fashion campaigns, the collection aims to move beyond standard creator merchandise and tap into the growing overlap between gaming, digital identity and youth fashion. Developed with inputs from Payal Gaming herself, the collection combines oversized silhouettes, bold graphics and casual styling inspired by gaming communities and internet culture.

The launch also reflects a wider shift in how gaming is being viewed in India. Once seen purely as entertainment, gaming is increasingly influencing fashion, music, social media trends and youth expression, especially among Gen Z audiences.

Speaking about the collaboration, OWND! chief executive officer Marco Agnolin said, “Gaming is no longer just entertainment, it’s culture. It is shaping how young consumers build communities, express their identities, and engage with fashion. With ‘Gamer Drop’, we wanted to tap into that cultural shift by creating a collection that goes beyond conventional gaming merch and feels genuinely relevant to everyday style.”

He added that the campaign aims to connect with digitally native consumers who increasingly look to creators for fashion inspiration and cultural trends.

The collection includes both menswear and womenswear pieces designed to balance gaming-inspired aesthetics with wearable daily fashion. Campaign visuals lean into high-energy styling and expressive storytelling, mirroring the confidence and individuality often associated with gaming communities.

Commenting on the launch, Payal Gaming said, “Gaming today has become a culture and a form of self-expression for millions of young people across the country. With this curation, I wanted to create something that genuinely reflects my vibe and the energy of my community. It’s stylish, comfortable, expressive and made for people who want to own who they are.”

To build momentum around the launch, the brand is rolling out a wide marketing campaign across social media, creator-led content, influencer partnerships and gaming communities, alongside dedicated in-store branding across India.

The ‘Gamer Drop’ collection will be available through OWND! stores and the brand’s official online platform.
