Oppo launches Reno16 campaign celebrating creativity and self expression

MUMBAI: Strike the right chord. Sometimes the loudest breakthrough begins by tuning out the noise. Oppo India has unveiled its latest campaign for the Reno16 Series, placing creativity, individuality and self-expression at the heart of its storytelling. Fronted by actor Janhvi Kapoor, the #LiveItYourWay campaign follows the journey of a young aspiring musician rediscovering her confidence, while positioning technology as an enabler rather than the hero.

The campaign film centres on Rhea, who shares a video of herself singing on social media but is soon overwhelmed by self-doubt. A heartfelt message from her father, accompanied by a childhood photograph of her performing fearlessly on stage, rekindles her belief in herself. Encouraged by the memory, she prepares for a campus audition, turning hesitation into confidence and self-expression.

Adding emotional resonance to the narrative is a reimagined version of the iconic Jugni, with the song mirroring Rhea’s journey from uncertainty to self-belief and reinforcing the campaign’s central message of embracing one’s individuality.

Rather than taking centre stage, the Reno16 Series is woven naturally into the story through AI-powered features such as AI Remix Collage and Oppo Bubble, highlighting how technology can help users create, edit and share personal stories with ease. The film also showcases the OppoEnco Air5 earbuds, whose 52dB Active Noise Cancellation helps the protagonist block distractions and reconnect with her passion for music.

Built for a generation that creates and shares content every day, the Reno16 Series combines AI-powered creativity tools, advanced imaging capabilities and intelligent editing features aimed at making content creation more intuitive and seamless.

The campaign will roll out across Oppo India’s digital platforms, OTT services, cinema screens and outdoor media as the company looks to strengthen Reno’s positioning around creativity and self-expression.

The Reno Series, introduced in 2019, has consistently focused on imaging innovation and AI-driven experiences. With the Reno16 Series, Oppo continues that strategy, blending intelligent software, advanced camera technology and premium design to help users transform everyday moments into meaningful stories.
