NIVEA India expands face care range with Luminous Even Glow skincare line

MUMBAI: NIVEA is looking to give its skincare portfolio a brighter outlook. NIVEA India has expanded its face care range with the launch of the Luminous Even Glow collection, as the brand looks to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing, ingredient-led skincare market.

The new range is positioned around concerns such as dullness, pigmentation, dark spots, enlarged pores and dehydration, with the company targeting younger consumers, particularly Gen Z, who are increasingly seeking science-backed skincare products.

At the centre of the portfolio is the NIVEA Luminous Even Glow Serum, formulated with the company’s patented Thiamidol ingredient alongside niacinamide and aloe vera. According to the company, the lightweight serum is designed to reduce the appearance of dark spots, improve skin tone, refine pores and boost hydration, with visible results claimed in 14 days.

NIVEA said Thiamidol works by helping regulate melanin production to target pigmentation at its source, while niacinamide improves skin texture and pore appearance. Aloe vera has been included to provide long-lasting hydration. The company also claims its patented Thiamidol ingredient is significantly more effective than vitamin C in addressing uneven skin tone.

Alongside the serum, the company has introduced the Luminous Even Glow Foam Cleansing range, available in Bubble Foam and Whip Foam variants. Both cleansers are powered by a six-acid complex designed to remove excess oil, dirt, dust and makeup residue while preparing the skin for the rest of the skincare routine.

The Bubble Foam cleanser contains carnitine and Pearl Rucinol Complex to help control excess oil and unclog pores, while the Whip Foam variant combines multiple forms of vitamin C with hyaluronic acid to deliver hydration and leave the skin feeling softer and more radiant.

The range also includes a Luminous Even Glow Day Cream with SPF 50 and a Night Cream, completing a full skincare regimen intended to provide hydration, pigmentation care and protection throughout the day and overnight.

Commenting on the launch, NIVEA India managing director Geetika Mehta said Indian consumers are increasingly seeking skincare products that combine scientific efficacy with everyday usability. She said the new range reflects the company’s strategy of bringing globally developed skincare technologies to Indian consumers in accessible formats.

The Luminous Even Glow range is now available through leading retail outlets and e-commerce platforms across India, further expanding NIVEA’s premium face care portfolio as competition intensifies in the country’s rapidly growing skincare market.
