Nitin Chandrasekharan joins Reporter Broadcasting as Kerala head of ad sales

KERALA: Reporter Broadcasting Company Private Limited has appointed Nitin Chandrasekharan as Kerala head – ad sales, reinforcing its commercial leadership as competition for regional advertising intensifies.

Chandrasekharan brings nearly two decades of experience in broadcast media sales, most recently with Disney Star, where he spent close to 20 years across senior leadership roles. His last assignment was as group head, following a long tenure as regional head – ad sales, overseeing key Kerala markets and leading sales for major entertainment channels.

Over his career, he has managed large teams, handled marquee advertiser relationships, and driven revenues across general entertainment and movie channels, building deep expertise in regional ad ecosystems. His career began in Chennai before he moved into leadership roles across Kerala’s television advertising market.

With Chandrasekharan taking charge, Reporter Broadcasting is signalling intent: double down on Kerala, deepen advertiser partnerships, and compete harder in a crowded regional ad market.
