MUMBAI: Mumbai is getting ready to run after dark. Nike is bringing its women-focused Nike After Dark Tour back to Mumbai on December 12, 2026, with registrations for the 10K night race opening at 10am IST on August 24.

The race will bring together women across backgrounds and ability levels for an evening centred on running, confidence, culture and community. With entries for the global tour moving quickly, Nike is encouraging runners to register early and get their running crews together.

The Mumbai event is part of the 2026 Nike After Dark Tour, which spans seven cities including Shanghai, Sydney, Mexico City, London, Los Angeles, Manila and Mumbai.

Now in its second year, the global race series is designed specifically for women and combines running with community-led experiences and Nike’s focus on self-expression. The inaugural tour in 2025 brought together more than 50,000 women across seven races on five continents, with one in three participants taking part in a race for the first time.

The Mumbai return is expected to build on that momentum, creating a platform for women to take on their first 10K, chase a personal best or simply run alongside friends.

The race experience will begin well before December. In the weeks leading up to race day, Nike will host guided training sessions led by Nike Running Coaches, alongside pre-race community activities aimed at helping participants prepare, build confidence and connect with fellow runners.

Race weekend will also feature Nike experiences, activations, on-course entertainment and finish-line celebrations. Participants will receive the After Dark Tour finisher medal, which can be worn in multiple ways, including as a necklace, bracelet, keychain loop or belt chain.

The tour will also showcase Nike’s latest running, training and sportswear innovations, including performance technologies developed for elite athletes and made available to everyday runners.

The 2025 Mumbai edition highlighted the growing interest in women’s running in India. This year’s event is expected to bring more women into the running community while giving experienced participants another opportunity to test themselves.

The Mumbai leg is supported by Hyperice as recovery partner, Nykaa as beauty partner and Science in Sport as hydration partner.

Registrations for the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai 2026 open at 10am IST on August 24, with the race scheduled for December 12, 2026.
