News18 Namma Run returns to Bengaluru with record 10,000-plus registrations
Second edition brings runners, families and fitness communities together in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: Bengaluru is ready to put its best foot forward as News18 Namma Run returns to the city for its second edition with more than 10,000 registrations, marking the highest participation recorded for the fitness property so far.
The Bengaluru edition, held on 8 October 2026, brings together runners, families, children, fitness enthusiasts and first-time participants as the multi-city initiative continues to build momentum across South India.
Namma Run has travelled across Salem, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Chennai in recent months, creating a platform for running communities and fitness enthusiasts to come together. The Bengaluru return has now emerged as one of the biggest editions of the series, reflecting the city’s strong running culture and active fitness communities.
The response also points to a wider change in how urban India approaches fitness. Running is increasingly moving beyond dedicated athletes and becoming part of everyday lifestyles, with working professionals, corporate teams, students, parents, children and weekend fitness groups joining organised runs.
The growing participation is also positioning Namma Run as more than a one-day sporting event. What began as a city-focused fitness initiative has developed into a multi-city experiential property combining fitness, community participation and brand engagement.
With each edition attracting larger audiences and wider participation, the property is building a stronger presence across South India’s fitness ecosystem.
The event has also attracted partners from sectors including real estate, healthcare, nutrition, consumer goods, mobility, finance, wellness and lifestyle.
Casagrand is the presenting partner, while Fujifilm is the co-presenting partner and Royal Enfield is the mobility partner.
Gold Winner is the Powered By Partner, with Calcimax 500 as Bone & Joint Health Partner and Parry’s Original Goodness as Goodness Partner. Milky Mist has come on board as Protein Partner, Orient Bell as Experience Partner, Lalithaa Jewellery as Jewellery Partner and Meenakshi TMT as Medal Partner.
Fast&Up is the Energy Partner and US Cranberries is the Nutrition Partner.
The wider partner ecosystem includes Sparsh Masala as Masala Partner, Craveman Ice Cream as Ice Cream Partner, Campa Sure as Hydration Partner, Raw Atom as Running Partner and Sparsh Hospital as Hospital Partner.
Dynapar QPS Plus is the Pain Relief Partner, Happiest Health is the Health Partner and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is the Banking Partner. Bagrry’s is the Special Partner, while Advanced GroHair & Gloskin is the Aesthetic Partner and Supersox is the Socks Partner.
The platform also has The Health Factory, Date Bites and Reliance Industries as Associate Partners.
With more than 10,000 runners signed up in Bengaluru, Namma Run’s second edition underlines how running is evolving from a niche fitness pursuit into a broader community experience. The growing footprint gives the property plenty of running room as it expands across South India.
