Motorola launches moto pad 70 PRO with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at Rs 32,999
New Android tablet packs a 13-inch 3.5K 144Hz display, AI tools and moto Pen PRO in the box
MUMBAI: Motorola has expanded its tablet portfolio in India with the launch of the moto pad 70 PRO, a premium Android tablet powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Starting at an effective price of Rs 32,999, the new tablet combines flagship-grade performance, AI-powered productivity features and a large 13-inch display aimed at students, professionals and content creators.
At the heart of the moto pad 70 PRO is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. Motorola claims the tablet delivers an AnTuTu score of over 2.5 million, positioning it among the highest-performing devices in its segment.
The tablet sports a 13-inch 3.5K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits of brightness and a pixel density of 319ppi. For multimedia, it features quad JBL speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, while a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera handle photography and video calls.
Motorola is also betting heavily on artificial intelligence to differentiate the device. The bundled moto Pen PRO supports AI-powered features such as Smart Capture, Sketch to Image, AI Super Res and AI Live Transcript. The tablet also includes Smarter Reader and AI Notes, enabling users to summarise documents, translate text, generate explanations and organise notes using AI.
Designed for productivity, the moto pad 70 PRO supports a dedicated snap-on keyboard with a built-in Smart Key for AI shortcuts. Combined with Desk Mode, multi-window support, WPS Office integration and Motorola’s Smart Connect ecosystem, the tablet aims to offer a desktop-like experience while remaining highly portable.
Despite housing a 10,200mAh battery, the tablet measures just 6.2mm thick and weighs around 589g. It supports 45W TurboPower fast charging and runs Android 16 out of the box, with upgrades promised up to Android 18 alongside four years of security updates.
Commenting on the launch, Motorola India managing director T.M. Narasimhan said consumers increasingly expect devices that seamlessly support work, learning, creativity and entertainment. He added that the moto pad 70 PRO combines flagship performance, AI-powered experiences and a premium design to meet those evolving needs.
The moto pad 70 PRO will be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants from 4 July through Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores.
The 128GB model is priced at Rs 36,999, while the 256GB variant costs Rs 39,999. A bundled version with the snap-on keyboard is priced at Rs 45,999. Under a limited-period ICICI Bank offer, customers can avail an instant discount of Rs 4,000, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs 32,999. The keyboard will also be available separately for Rs 5,999 when purchased with the 256GB variant.
