Momentum Sports retained as PR partner for Madhya Pradesh League 2026
The Delhi-based agency, back for a second consecutive season, will handle media communications as the domestic cricket tournament eyes wider reach
DELHI: Momentum Sports is back. The Delhi-based sports PR agency has been appointed official public relations and media communications partner for the 2026 edition of the Madhya Pradesh League, retained on the strength of its work during the tournament’s 2025 season.
The agency brings more than a decade of experience in sports media and brand building. Its portfolio spans domestic and international cricket: it has handled PR for the Indian Blind Cricket Team and pacer Akash Deep, managed communications for Servotech Siliguri Strikers in the Bengal T20 League and Neco Master Blaster in the Vidarbha T20 League, and worked on international properties including the US Premier League and the Hong Kong Super Sixes.
“MPL has rapidly emerged as one of the exciting domestic cricket tournaments in the country,” said Bhavana Jagwani, chief executive of Momentum Sports. “We look forward to contributing towards enhancing the league’s visibility, storytelling, and fan engagement through strategic communication initiatives.”
Rohan Gupta, founder and chief executive of Sport Ex Consultancy, which organises the league, said Momentum Sports’ prior experience with MPL gave the organisers confidence that “the league’s communication and outreach will continue to grow strongly this season.”
The men’s tournament gets under way on June 3, with Gwalior Cheetahs taking on Ujjain Falcons at 7:30pm at Holkar Stadium. The women’s competition follows on June 4, with Chambal Ghariyals facing Gwalior Shernis at 10:00am at Daly College.
Eleven teams, two competitions, one agency to tell the story. Momentum Sports has its work cut out.
