Mia by Tanishq takes Big Bling Fest to Delhi streets with convoy
Bling on Wheels campaign blends retail, influencers and digital engagement
MUMBAI: Delhi’s traffic found an unexpected sparkle as jewellery, not just vehicles, stole the spotlight. Mia by Tanishq took its Big Bling Fest beyond store counters and onto the streets with a citywide ‘Bling on Wheels’ convoy, turning the campaign into an on-the-move brand experience across the National Capital Region.
As part of the activation, the jewellery brand deployed three pink, bling-wrapped vehicles that travelled through South Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, North Delhi and West Delhi, bringing the festival directly to shoppers instead of waiting for them to visit stores.
The campaign combined fashion, entertainment and retail marketing through influencer appearances, interactive consumer experiences and multiple public stops. The convoy attracted crowds across key locations, encouraging visitors to explore Mia’s contemporary jewellery collections and promotional offers linked to the ongoing festival.
Adding to the experience, customers were invited to flag off the convoy before it began its citywide journey, while many also stepped inside the customised vehicles for photographs and social media moments, transforming routine commutes into brand-led experiences.
The activation also extended into the digital world through the ‘Spot the Bling Car & Win’ contest. Participants were encouraged to photograph the convoy, scan the QR code displayed on the vehicles, share their posts on social media and compete for prizes, helping generate user-created content and wider online conversations around the campaign.
The initiative forms part of Mia by Tanishq’s broader strategy to position the Big Bling Fest as its flagship annual retail event by combining physical experiences with digital engagement to attract younger consumers.
The festival, which runs until 2 August 2026, showcases the brand’s latest collections across natural diamond, gold and silver jewellery, alongside promotional offers aimed at driving festive purchases.
The campaign reflects a growing trend in retail marketing, where brands are taking experiences beyond traditional storefronts to engage consumers in public spaces. By blending influencer marketing, interactive activations and digital participation, Mia by Tanishq is betting that memorable experiences can be just as valuable as the products on display.
