MARS Cosmetics takes Living the MARS Life campaign to Delhi Metro
MUMBAI: Beauty has boarded the Metro and this time, the destination is everyday confidence. MARS Cosmetics has taken its #LivingTheMARSLife campaign to the Delhi Metro, using one of India’s busiest public transport networks to engage women during their daily commutes through relatable storytelling rather than conventional advertising.
The activation, now live across the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line, is built around the campaign thought, “Har Life Ke Bahar, Ek Life Hoti Hai,” highlighting the lives women lead beyond work, college and daily responsibilities.
Instead of focusing on aspirational beauty, the campaign draws inspiration from familiar commuting experiences. One of the featured creatives reads, “Rajiv Chowk ki Bheed & No Seat, Life Still Feels Like A Party,” capturing the resilience and optimism of commuters navigating crowded stations and packed trains.
By choosing the Metro as its canvas, MARS Cosmetics is seeking to reach consumers in an environment where they spend a significant part of their day, positioning confidence as something expressed in everyday moments rather than reserved for special occasions.
The Metro activation builds on the broader #LivingTheMARSLife campaign featuring actor Fatima Sana Shaikh alongside creators Aastha Shah and Anshika Pandey. The campaign explores different stages of a woman’s life, from college and careers to marriage and personal transformation.
Commenting on the initiative, Anmol Sahai Mathur, Vice President (Marketing), MARS Cosmetics, said the activation was designed to connect with women in the context of their daily journeys, whether they are students, working professionals or navigating new phases of life. He added that the campaign aims to reinforce the idea that confidence comes from embracing one’s individuality rather than changing oneself.
The initiative also reflects a broader shift in advertising, with brands increasingly moving beyond digital platforms and traditional billboards to create contextual experiences in high-footfall public spaces where consumers are more likely to engage with everyday messaging.
With the Delhi Metro carrying millions of passengers every day, MARS Cosmetics is betting that a crowded platform and a relatable line can leave as lasting an impression as any glossy campaign turning an ordinary commute into another stop on its #LivingTheMARSLife journey.
