Manhattan Communications to handle event management and sponsorship duties of MTDC
MUMBAI: After a long drawn selection process, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has empanelled Manhattan Communications (India) as an agency for event management and sponsorship, starting from April 2014 for a period of three years.
Following a multi-agency pitch from several agencies, MTDC chose Manhattan Communications for promoting Maharashtra as a leading tourism destination in India. Through its strategic and creative expertise and its offices across the globe, Manhattan Communications endeavours to assist MTDC, achieve this objective.
The agency’s co-promoter & director Shantonu Aditya said, “We are extremely privileged to be empanelled for such an esteemed client, MTDC. It is a great honour and accomplishment for us. This association shall not only strengthen our roster of clients but would also help us grow in a new category of services.”
MTDC is a body of the Government of Maharashtra responsible for development of tourism in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Since its inception, it has also been involved in the development and maintenance of the various tourist locations of Maharashtra.
