Mahindra elevates Parikshit Ghosh to Sr VP & head – marketing & national business operations
Long-serving executive takes expanded role in Mahindra Tractors after over 26 years with company
Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has elevated Parikshit Ghosh to senior vice president and head of marketing and national business operations for its tractor division, expanding the responsibilities of one of its longest-serving leaders.
Based in Mumbai, Ghosh assumed the new role in July after serving as vice president and head of marketing and national business operations for Mahindra Tractors since April 2023.
In his expanded position, he will continue to lead marketing strategy and national business operations, focusing on profitable growth, brand development, digital transformation, customer experience and technology-led farming solutions across the tractor business.
Ghosh has spent more than 26 years with Mahindra, holding leadership roles across sales, service, customer care and aftermarket operations.
As head of marketing and national business operations, he has driven initiatives to strengthen Mahindra’s brand equity, optimise product portfolios, improve inventory efficiency through digital platforms such as Salesforce and Kinaxis, and enhance after-sales revenues through stronger dealer engagement and service accountability.
Earlier, he headed the company’s spares business unit, where he managed end-to-end aftermarket operations across automotive, farm equipment, construction equipment, two-wheelers, gensets and exports. During his tenure, Mahindra expanded its warehousing network, strengthened supply chain resilience and improved inventory planning through advanced forecasting systems.
He also served as head of sales for farm machinery, national head of customer care, zonal head of sales and zonal head of service, leading business expansion, dealer network development and customer experience initiatives across multiple regions.
Ghosh began his career at Hindustan Motors Limited before joining Mahindra in 1999. Over the years, he progressed through several customer care and service leadership positions before moving into national business roles.
He has completed a diploma in general management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a global management development programme at Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
The elevation comes as Mahindra continues to strengthen its leadership team in the farm equipment business, with a growing focus on digital transformation, customer-centric services and technology-driven agricultural solutions.
