LT Foods names Ranveer Brar as Daawat ambassador, launches Delight campaign
New TV and digital campaign spotlights Daawat Delight’s flavour absorption technology
New Delhi: LT Foods is serving up a fresh face for its flagship basmati brand. The FMCG company has appointed celebrity chef Ranveer Brar as the brand ambassador for Daawat and unveiled a new multimedia campaign for Daawat Delight Basmati.
Created by BBDO India, the campaign shifts attention from the main course to what it calls the often-overlooked hero of the meal: rice. Set in a restaurant, the film uses Brar’s storytelling style to highlight Daawat Delight’s superior flavour absorption technology under the tagline, “Har Dish Ko Banaye Very Very Nice”.
The campaign will roll out across television, digital and social media platforms.
Commenting on the association, LT Foods chief executive officer, India business and Far East, Ritesh Arora said Brar’s culinary expertise and appreciation for India’s food heritage make him a natural fit for the Daawat brand. He added that Daawat Delight reflects the company’s focus on meaningful product innovation while strengthening its position in the premium basmati rice category.
Brar said basmati rice has always played a central role in the stories he tells through food and described the partnership as an opportunity to celebrate an ingredient that has shaped Indian culinary traditions while inspiring new dining experiences.
Daawat Delight is available across quick commerce platforms, modern trade outlets and general trade stores. With Brar now fronting the brand, LT Foods is looking to strengthen its connect with consumers by putting rice, rather than just the recipe, in the spotlight.
