L’Oréal India appoints Aditi Krishnan as India lead – external communications
Former AB InBev communications leader joins beauty major to steer corporate reputation
MUMBAI: Beauty giant L’Oréal India has strengthened its communications leadership with the appointment of Aditi Krishnan as India lead – external communications.
Krishnan announced the move on LinkedIn, describing it as the start of a new chapter and noting that one of the highlights of the role would be the opportunity to work again with Anasuya Ray.
The appointment marks a return to Mumbai for the communications professional after spending more than five years at AB InBev India, where she played a key role in shaping the brewer’s corporate communications strategy.
Before joining L’Oréal India, Krishnan served as senior manager – communications at AB InBev India from December 2022 to May 2026. Prior to that, she held the position of manager – communications, overseeing internal and external communications initiatives for the company.
Reflecting on her departure from AB InBev India in a recent LinkedIn post, Krishnan described the experience as a defining period in her career, saying she had “grown up professionally” during her tenure with the organisation. She also acknowledged the support of colleagues and mentors who helped shape her journey over the years.
Earlier in her career, Krishnan spent nearly five years at MSLGROUP India, progressing through roles including public relations executive, senior executive, and public relations manager. During that period, she worked across media relations, crisis communications and corporate reputation management for a range of clients.
She began her communications career with an internship at FleishmanHillard, gaining early exposure to public relations and global communications practices.
Academically, Krishnan holds a master’s degree in international public relations and global communications management from Cardiff University, providing a strong foundation for her career in strategic communications.
Her appointment comes as brands place growing emphasis on reputation management, stakeholder engagement and earned media strategies amid an increasingly complex communications landscape. At L’Oréal India, Krishnan is expected to lead external communications efforts as the company continues to strengthen its presence across the country’s fast-growing beauty and personal care market.
The move also underscores the increasing crossover of senior communications talent between consumer-facing industries, with experienced corporate affairs and public relations leaders becoming central to how global brands shape their narratives in India.
