MUMBAI: Jio Haptik is giving its enterprise growth strategy a new voice, appointing Adarsh as enterprise business head as the conversational and agentic AI company looks to accelerate adoption across global markets.

Effective August 2026, Adarsh will lead Jio Haptik’s overall enterprise business, overseeing sales, customer success, international expansion and partnerships. His mandate will span India, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Latin America (LatAm).

The appointment comes as enterprises move beyond AI experiments and begin looking for measurable business results from their investments. Jio Haptik currently works with more than 500 enterprises globally, with over 100 customers having adopted its voice AI capabilities.

Adarsh brings nearly two decades of experience across India, APAC, the Middle East and the US, with expertise spanning enterprise sales, strategic account management, business development, partnerships, cloud, AI and digital transformation.

“The next phase of Enterprise AI will not be about deploying more bots, it will be about delivering measurable business outcomes through intelligent agents. At Jio Haptik, my focus will be to help enterprises move from experimentation to scale, while building deeper customer relationships and a stronger global Enterprise growth engine,” said Adarsh.

A key part of Adarsh’s brief will be to deepen existing customer relationships and shift them from individual AI projects towards broader, multi-use-case partnerships.

The company plans to help customers extend AI across multiple customer journeys, channels and business functions. It also intends to increase enterprise deal sizes by addressing wider business requirements through AI agents, voice AI and end-to-end customer journey automation.

Jio Haptik is also looking to develop more sector-specific AI propositions in industries where it already has strong relationships and market credibility. These include banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), retail, telecom, healthcare, consumer businesses, and travel and hospitality.

The focus will not simply be on how much AI a customer deploys, but on what it delivers. Jio Haptik plans to measure outcomes through indicators such as automation, conversion, customer experience, response times, productivity and cost efficiency.

Jio Haptik CEO Ahshad Jussawala said the company has evolved from its early focus on conversational AI to a broader enterprise proposition spanning voice, automation and agentic experiences.

“Haptik has already evolved significantly from its roots in conversational AI to helping enterprises adopt AI across voice, automation and increasingly agentic experiences. Adarsh’s appointment brings dedicated leadership to this next stage of scale, with a mandate spanning customer relationships, growth and our broader enterprise ecosystem,” said Jussawala.

He added that Adarsh’s experience would be important in deepening the company’s enterprise business and accelerating AI adoption at scale.

Before joining Jio Haptik, Adarsh worked at Trianz, where he was involved in technology-led transformation opportunities with large enterprises. His career has also included entrepreneurial ventures such as FluidSpace, a flexible workspace marketplace, and Novum, an IoT-focused company.

His professional experience includes work around AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, generative AI, enterprise cloud transformation and digital platforms, alongside large-account management and enterprise go-to-market.

For Jio Haptik, the appointment comes at a crucial point in the enterprise AI cycle. As companies become more selective about AI spending, the pitch is shifting from experimentation to business impact. Adarsh’s task will be to turn that shift into a larger, more global growth engine for Haptik.
