Invenia STL Networks appoints Col. Girish Nandan Juneja as COO

NEW DELHI: Every network needs a strong signal, and Invenia-STL Networks has just strengthened its own. The digital infrastructure services company has appointed Col. Girish Nandan Juneja as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective 2 July 2026, as it sharpens its focus on scaling connectivity, system integration and data centre operations amid India’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure landscape.

Reporting to Interim CEO Chandrasekhara Battula, Juneja will oversee the company’s operational expansion across its core businesses at a time when demand for mission-critical infrastructure continues to gather pace. The appointment comes as Invenia broadens its portfolio of greenfield data centres, disaster recovery solutions, connectivity projects and system integration services for telecom operators, government agencies, defence organisations and large enterprises.

Juneja brings 30 years of infrastructure and operations experience to the role. He joins Invenia from Freyr Energy, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, and has previously held leadership positions at Reliance Jio Infocomm. Before moving into the corporate sector, he spent decades with the Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers, leading large-scale infrastructure operations.

The leadership addition signals Invenia’s intent to build greater execution capability as digital infrastructure investments continue to accelerate across the country. With enterprises and public sector organisations ramping up spending on connectivity and data centre capacity, operational efficiency is increasingly becoming a competitive differentiator.

Commenting on the appointment, Battula said Juneja’s three decades of experience across corporate and military environments make him well placed to scale the company’s connectivity, system integration and data centre businesses. He added that the operational discipline and strategic clarity Juneja brings will support Invenia’s next phase of growth.

Juneja said Invenia is helping build India’s digital infrastructure backbone and that he looks forward to working with the leadership team to strengthen operational excellence while expanding the company’s capabilities across its service lines.
