MUMBAI: India’s premium spirits are raising a toast on the global stage. Smoke Lab Vodka is set to make its official UK debut as the exclusive vodka partner of the Serpentine Summer Party 2026, marking a major milestone in the brand’s international expansion.

Held on June 23 at Kensington Gardens in London, the invitation-only event is one of the most prestigious gatherings on the global cultural calendar. Organised by Serpentine, the annual fundraiser supports the institution’s exhibitions, public commissions, education programmes and artistic initiatives while attracting leading names from the worlds of art, fashion, architecture, business, music and entertainment.

This year’s edition is co-hosted by Salma Hayek Pinault, Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu, and coincides with the unveiling of the 25th Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Mexico City’s LANZA Atelier.

Founded in 2019, Smoke Lab Vodka has positioned itself as a contemporary Indian premium spirits brand crafted from basmati rice. The Serpentine partnership also marks the brand’s formal entry into the UK market, where it plans to expand through premium hospitality and retail partnerships across London.

As the event’s exclusive vodka partner, Smoke Lab will feature across the cocktail programme with a signature Spicy Raw Mango Sour, created using its Green Chilli Mango vodka. Guests will also be served Smoke Lab Classic and Smoke Lab Saffron, showcasing the brand’s interpretation of Indian ingredients through premium spirits.

Commenting on the association, Smoke Lab Vodka founder and CEO Varun Jain said the Serpentine Summer Party represented more than a commercial partnership.

“It is an opportunity to showcase a contemporary Indian luxury brand on one of the world’s most respected cultural platforms. As we make our UK debut, we are proud to represent a new generation of Indian spirits that can confidently stand alongside the finest brands anywhere in the world,” he said.

Smoke Lab Vodka co-founder Sanya Jain said today’s consumers increasingly seek authentic, design-led brands with a distinct identity. She added that the partnership provides an opportunity to introduce Smoke Lab to an international audience that values creativity, craftsmanship and cultural expression.

Varun Jain and Sanya Jain, second-generation entrepreneurs from NV Group, one of India’s largest integrated alcobev companies, will also attend the event, reflecting the growing presence of Indian founders and homegrown luxury brands on global cultural platforms.

For Smoke Lab, the UK debut represents more than entering a new market. It signals the growing confidence of Indian premium brands in competing internationally, as homegrown labels increasingly move from local success stories to global cultural conversations.
