India Today Group expands luxury portfolio with India Today Spice

MUMBAI: India Today Group’s luxury portfolio is adding a little more spice, with India Today Spice joining its stable of premium lifestyle brands and three senior executives taking on expanded responsibilities. The addition of India Today Spice takes the group’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio to five brands, alongside Cosmopolitan India, Harper’s Bazaar India, Hello! India and Brides Today. The business has grown sharply in recent years, driven by new intellectual properties, wider commercial opportunities and revenue growth across print and digital.

As part of the latest restructuring, Sakshi Kohli, who already oversees Harper’s Bazaar India, Cosmopolitan India, Hello! India and Brides Today, will now also lead the India Today Spice business. She has been redesignated as CEO – Luxury and Lifestyle Business, India Today Group.

The editorial side will also see an expanded remit. Ruchika Mehta, Editor of Hello! India and Brides Today, will additionally take charge as Editor, India Today Spice.

On the commercial front, Kamalinee Chatterjee, Vice President – Sales, will additionally oversee sales for India Today Spice and lead sales across all five brands.

The changes bring editorial, sales and business leadership for the expanded portfolio under a more unified structure, as the group looks to build on the momentum generated across its luxury and lifestyle properties.

With India Today Spice now part of the mix, the portfolio spans five brands across fashion, lifestyle, luxury and celebratory content, while its business continues to operate across both print and digital platforms.
