Hyun Shik Park resigns as chief operations officer at Ola Electric
Park stepped down citing personal reasons, effective September 5, 2026
MUMBAI: Ola Electric Mobility’s chief operations officer Hyun Shik Park has resigned from the company, effective September 5, 2026, citing personal reasons.
Park, who was designated as a senior management personnel at Ola Electric, stepped down at the close of business hours on September 5. The company’s board took note of his resignation at its meeting held on the same day.
The board also approved the reappointment of Manoj Kumar Kohli and Shradha Sharma as non-executive independent directors for a second five-year term, subject to shareholder approval.
Their new terms will run from December 6, 2026 to December 5, 2031.
The board meeting also included other corporate approvals, including a proposal to increase Ola Electric’s authorised share capital and an enabling resolution to raise up to Rs 1,500 crore through the issuance of equity shares or convertible securities.
Park’s departure comes as Ola Electric continues to expand its operations and navigate the competitive electric vehicle market in India. The company has not disclosed further details about the leadership transition following his resignation.
