H&M Beauty names Sharvari its first ambassador in India
The brand launches a new makeup assortment featuring the actor’s picks for the festive season
MUMBAI: Fashion has always dressed India. Now it wants to do her make-up too. On 1 October H&M Beauty India welcomed Sharvari as its first-ever brand ambassador, and launched a festive makeup assortment built around her picks. One of the country’s most promising young actors, Sharvari brings a fresh, confident and contemporary energy to the H&M Beauty universe, reflecting the brand’s fashion-first approach to beauty.
The choice of face is telling. Sharvari is one of Hindi cinema’s most exciting young leads, known for moving with equal ease between intimate drama and large-scale franchise cinema. She made her big-screen debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2, winning the Best Female Debut award, before building a diverse body of work across Munjya, Vedaa, Main Vaapas Aaunga and YRF’s Alpha. The last two debuted at No. 2 and No. 1 respectively on Netflix’s India charts, and are among 2026’s biggest hits. She will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya, releasing in November.
As H&M Beauty’s India ambassador, Sharvari will front the brand’s beauty communication in the market, bringing her unique perspective and personal style to the world of H&M Beauty. She is clearly pleased. “I’m incredibly excited to be H&M Beauty’s first ambassador in India,” she says. “I’ve always loved beauty as a way to express myself, have fun and, most importantly, feel confident in my own skin. What I connect with most about H&M Beauty is the belief that beauty doesn’t have to feel complicated. It can be accessible, effortless and something you make completely your own. To me, the most beautiful thing is finding the products, looks and rituals that reflect who you are, rather than trying to fit into one idea of what beauty should be. I’m really looking forward to sharing this journey with H&M Beauty and seeing everyone discover their own favourites from the collection.”
The pitch is simple and sharp. With fashion at its core, H&M Beauty brings together makeup, fragrance, hair and body care to complete the H&M look. From statement-making beauty to everyday essentials, the assortment is designed to make beauty an effortless part of personal style, the final accessory to every look.
The company is bullish. “We’re excited to welcome Sharvari as our first-ever ambassador of H&M Beauty in India,” says Helena Kuylenstierna, director of H&M India. “It’s been a fantastic first year for the category, and we’re looking forward to building on that momentum. With her fresh take on beauty and personal style, Sharvari is the perfect partner as we continue to grow beauty and inspire our customers.”
Tove Virding, head of marketing at H&M Beauty, is just as upbeat. “Sharvari represents the energy and attitude we see in the next generation of beauty in India,” she says. “She is confident, ambitious and has a strong, individual approach to fashion and beauty. We are incredibly excited to welcome her as the first face of H&M Beauty in India and to build this next chapter together.”
The analysis is straightforward. The partnership marks an important step for H&M Beauty in India, further establishing the brand as a fashion-led beauty destination and bringing its distinctive take on beauty to a new generation of consumers. A first year of momentum, a first ambassador and a festive launch, all in one move.
Then there is the shopping list. The new assortment includes the Elixir Gold Perfume, Blush & Glow Duo Palette, Glow Touch Liquid Highlighter, Waterproof Kajal, Swipe & Smudge Liquid Eyeshadow, Glowy Tint Liquid Blush, Plump Gloss and EDP Fragrance kit. The range is available online at Hm.com, Nykaa.com and Myntra.com, as well as at all H&M stores across India from 1 October.
