Grohe Spa hosts design summit on personalised luxury and wellness
NEW DELHI: What does luxury mean in a world that values personal wellness? Grohe Spa asked this question at an exclusive design summit, bringing together India’s leading architects and designers to explore how spaces can be tailored to individual lifestyles.
Moderated by actor Kubbra Sait, the evening stepped away from the usual product launch format to spark conversations about curated living and wellness at home.
A fireside chat featuring celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan, architect Rajiv Parekh of Red Architects, and Bijoy Mohan, executive officer at Lixil International, delved into how Indian homeowners increasingly see bathrooms as private sanctuaries.
Gauri Khan summed it up, “Clients today aren’t just asking for a shower; they are asking for a ritual. Luxury is no longer about a product, it is about personalising the experience from water flow to mood and atmosphere.”
The summit also brought the concept to life with immersive experiential zones. Grohe Spa’s Rainshower Aqua and Grohtherm Aqua collections were showcased not merely as fittings, but as tools for architectural storytelling.
Rajiv Parekh explained, “At Red we aim to create spaces that grow with our clients. With modular systems like Rainshower Aqua, we can position outlets across ceilings, walls or panels, letting the design feel seamless and intentional while the engineering stays hidden.”
Lixil Imea managing director Priya Rustogi, added a market perspective, “People are valuing private space more than ever. Bathrooms have become places to pause, reset, and reconnect. Grohe Spa gives designers the freedom to create individual sanctuaries, turning everyday water rituals into experiences.”
Set against gallery-style installations, the event blended design insight with hands-on experience, showing that in premium homes, luxury is not just seen: it is felt, personalised, and lived.
