Google appoints Aniruddha Shinde as product manager after six-year Microsoft stint
Former Microsoft senior product manager begins Noogler journey in Hyderabad role
HYDERABAD: From Outlook to Gmail, Aniruddha Shinde’s inbox is getting a major upgrade. Aniruddha Shinde has joined Google as a product manager, marking the end of a six-year journey at Microsoft and the beginning of what he described as his “Noogler journey”.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Shinde wrote: “After 6 incredible years at Microsoft, I’m officially transitioning my daily workflows from Outlook to Gmail :P. Excited to share that I’ve joined Google as a Product Manager. Let the Noogler journey begin!”
Based in Hyderabad, Shinde started his new role at Google in June 2026.
Before joining Google, he spent 6 years and 1 month at Microsoft, steadily progressing through a series of product and programme management positions. Most recently, he served as senior product manager from March 2025 to June 2026, where he focused on building scalable order-to-cash workflow experiences for stakeholders, covering areas such as marketplace operations, invoicing and enterprise resource planning.
Prior to that, he worked as program manager II between March 2022 and March 2025, overseeing initiatives related to Office product sales motions, Windows delivery experiences, OEM partnerships, promotions, offers, billing and taxation. He had earlier served as program manager from June 2020 to February 2022.
Shinde’s professional journey began in engineering. Before Microsoft, he worked at TEKsystems for nearly three years, first as an associate software engineer and later as a software engineer in the Greater Hyderabad area. He also completed a summer internship with Johnson & Johnson in 2019.
Academically, Shinde holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, where he studied business administration and management between 2018 and 2020. During his time there, he was actively involved in student organisations, serving in leadership roles across SIGMA, Services and PiXL. He also earned an engineering degree in Information Technology from COEP Technological University.
The appointment adds another experienced product leader to Google’s India operations, while highlighting the continued movement of talent between two of the world’s biggest technology companies. For Shinde, the switch may begin with a change of email platform, but it also marks the start of a new chapter in product innovation at Google.
