MUMBAI: Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) expects to deliver another strong quarter in Q2 FY27, with consolidated revenue growth in the high teens, underlying volume growth in the high single digits and EBITDA growth in double digits despite uneven monsoon conditions and renewed commodity inflation.

The company’s quarterly update for the period ended 30 September 2026 is based on internal unaudited management reports. GCPL said a detailed performance update will be issued after the board approves its Q2 FY27 financial results.

At the standalone level, revenue is expected to grow in the teens, with underlying volume growth in the high single digits. The company expects trade inventory correction to have an estimated 100-150 basis point impact on the performance.

GCPL said both its Personal Care and Home Care portfolios have recorded healthy growth, resulting in broad-based performance across the standalone business.

GCPL’s Indonesia business is expected to report high-teens revenue growth, supported by high-single-digit volume growth.

The company attributed the performance to improved execution, continued market share gains and healthy category trends, building on the recovery seen over recent quarters.

The Godrej Africa, USA and Middle East (GAUM) business is expected to deliver another strong quarter, with robust double-digit revenue and volume growth.

Growth in the region continues to be driven by market development in core categories and portfolio transformation, particularly through the scaling of FMCG categories.

Input cost pressures intensified during Q2, with renewed inflation across several key raw-material categories.

While some commodities had started to moderate towards the end of Q1 FY27, the company said crude-linked derivatives, palm oils and other commodity inputs saw renewed inflation during the quarter.

GCPL is responding through calibrated pricing actions, cost-saving measures, supply-chain efficiencies and tighter cost management.

The company said it has previously navigated significantly larger commodity cycles and remains confident of managing the current inflationary environment without compromising its growth plans.

GCPL said it will continue to prioritise volume-led growth while protecting its brands through investments in innovation, distribution and category development.

The company remains on track to meet its full-year guidance and expects to exceed it in select areas, supported by broad-based growth across its businesses.

GCPL said the strength of its portfolio, resilient consumer demand across its markets and momentum across its growth platforms continue to support its expectations for sustained and profitable growth over the medium term.
