G Square launches MS Dhoni campaign for plotted developments
Cricketing icon fronts new film highlighting zero-cash policy and transparency.
MUMBAI: MS Dhoni just rolled in on a hoverboard to sell plots because when Thala says “Your Home. Your Dream. Your Choice,” even real estate starts feeling like a winning chase. G Square Group, India’s largest plotted developer, has unveiled a new campaign film featuring cricketing icon MS Dhoni, spotlighting its commitment to transparent real estate transactions and its industry-first zero-cash policy for plotted developments. The sub-one-minute film is set in a vibrant Tamil wedding gathering where friends and family casually discuss life’s next milestones after the celebrations.
The conversation flows naturally from career and marriage to homeownership, shifting from premium apartments to plotted developments as a flexible, long-term investment. MS Dhoni makes a stylish, unexpected entry on a hoverboard wearing a traditional veshti, joining the discussion with his signature calm and reassurance. He guides the group toward the advantages of G Square plots locations within city limits, strong connectivity, prices below market value, and the zero-cash policy that eliminates hidden charges.
The narrative subtly weaves in G Square’s scale, 13 plus years of operations, more than 20,000 customers, 5,000 plus acres delivered, and presence across 20+ cities, all presented conversationally without breaking the flow.
G Square Group founder and managing director Bala Ramajayam said, “Our continued association with MS Dhoni reflects the shared values of trust, credibility and consistency that define both the brand and the individual. This campaign is designed to clearly communicate our zero-cash policy and our commitment to transparent, ethical transactions.”
The film, already shared by Dhoni on his social media, is live across digital platforms. In a market where buying land can feel like navigating a tricky pitch, G Square and Dhoni aren’t just promising a home, they’re delivering the kind of straight drive every buyer wants: clear, clean and full of trust.

Visa appoints Suresh Sethi as India country head
MUMBAI: In India’s fast-moving payments race, Visa has just swiped in a new leader. The company has named Suresh Sethi as its India country head, marking a key leadership shift as it sharpens its focus on digital payments growth in the market. Sethi steps into the role following his recent exit from Protean eGov Technologies, where he served as chief executive officer. He succeeds Sandeep Ghosh, who has moved on after more than four years at Visa to pursue an external opportunity.
The appointment comes at a time when Visa is doubling down on its expansion strategy across India and the wider region, deepening partnerships and accelerating adoption in an increasingly competitive digital payments ecosystem.
Sethi brings with him a broad, cross-market perspective shaped by decades of experience across corporate banking, retail financial services, mobile money and large-scale government technology initiatives. He began his career at Citigroup, where he spent 14 years working across India, Africa, South America and the United States, focusing on transaction banking services within the corporate bank.
His appointment signals a blend of institutional experience and market familiarity qualities that could prove critical as Visa navigates a landscape where fintech innovation, regulatory evolution and consumer adoption are all accelerating at once.
As digital payments in India continue to scale rapidly, the leadership change underscores a simple reality, in a market where every tap, scan and swipe counts, who leads the charge can matter just as much as the technology itself.
