MUMBAI: Good sound doesn’t always have to come with a hefty price tag. Futurix Labs is betting that affordable audio still has plenty of room to make some noise, with the launch of its new Futurix Dime Bluetooth Earbuds, priced at Rs 599.

Targeted at budget-conscious consumers, the new wireless earbuds combine up to 30 hours of total playtime, deep bass tuning and Bluetooth connectivity, as brands continue to compete aggressively in India’s value-driven personal audio market.

The Dime earbuds are designed for a wide range of everyday use cases, from music streaming and video playback to gaming, voice calls and virtual meetings. Futurix Labs says the earbuds are tuned to deliver bass-heavy sound while maintaining balanced audio for podcasts and other spoken-word content.

The earbuds feature Bluetooth wireless connectivity, enabling quick pairing with smartphones, tablets, laptops and other compatible devices. A built-in microphone supports hands-free calling, while the wireless design eliminates the need for wired connections.

Futurix has also focused on portability and comfort. The earbuds feature a lightweight, ergonomic design intended for extended wear during commuting, workouts and office use. They are bundled with a compact charging case that allows users to recharge the earbuds on the move.

Commenting on the launch, Futurix Labs founder and CEO Puneet Gulati said the company aimed to make premium audio features more accessible at an entry-level price point by combining long battery life, comfort and dependable wireless performance.

With a retail price of Rs 599, the Dime earbuds enter one of India’s most competitive consumer electronics categories, where brands are increasingly differentiating themselves through battery life, sound quality and affordability rather than premium pricing alone.

The launch reflects the continued growth of India’s budget wearables segment, as manufacturers look to attract first-time wireless audio buyers with feature-rich products that balance performance, convenience and value.
