Dabur reshuffles India leadership after CEO appointment, revises senior management
Three business heads exit senior management category but continue in existing roles
New Delhi: Dabur India has refreshed its leadership playbook. The FMCG major has restructured its India business leadership following the appointment of a new chief executive, resulting in three senior executives no longer being classified as senior management personnel.
Dabur India Limited informed stock exchanges that its Board of Directors approved changes to the company’s senior management structure at its meeting held on 29 July 2026. The move follows the appointment of Herjit S. Bhalla as chief executive officer – India business, effective 23 April 2026, reporting to the global chief executive officer.
As part of the restructuring, Rehan Hasan, executive vice president – sales, Sriram Padmanabhan, director – healthcare, and Abhishek Jugran, director – home and personal care and foods, have ceased to be classified as senior management personnel with effect from 29 July 2026.
The company clarified that the change is purely a result of the internal management restructuring. All three executives will continue to be associated with Dabur in their existing roles and responsibilities, but will now report to Herjit S. Bhalla as part of the revised organisational structure.
Dabur said the disclosure has been made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and the applicable SEBI Master Circular.
The Board meeting, during which the changes were approved, commenced at 2:00 pm and concluded at 4:30 pm.
The restructuring aligns Dabur’s India business under a unified leadership structure headed by Herjit S. Bhalla, streamlining reporting lines while retaining experienced business leaders in their operational roles.
