AI tool simplifies train bookings as Kohli-led RCB campaign brings feature to life
GURUGRAM: ConfirmTkt has launched a new artificial intelligence-powered feature called AI Seat Finder, aimed at making train ticket bookings in India faster and less uncertain, alongside a high-energy campaign featuring cricket stars from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The feature, powered by TARA and developed by ixigo, is designed to help users find confirmed train tickets even when their preferred trains are waitlisted. It is integrated into the ConfirmTkt app and uses conversational AI to guide users through travel options in real time.
Travellers can interact with the system using simple prompts such as “Show me confirmed train tickets after 5 PM” or “Which trains with confirmed seats will reach earliest”. The tool then suggests alternatives across routes, timings and boarding points, reducing the need to manually check multiple options.
The feature is available in both Hindi and English, targeting users across metros and high-traffic railway corridors, as well as smaller towns where train travel remains a primary mode of transport.
To mark the launch, ConfirmTkt has rolled out a new campaign titled Talk Travel Repeat – AI Seat Finder Dilayega Seat, featuring Royal Challengers Bengaluru players Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Venkatesh Iyer. The film showcases how the AI tool simplifies the search for confirmed tickets through humour-led, everyday travel scenarios.
Speaking on the launch, ConfirmTkt CEO Dinesh Kumar Kotha said the product addresses long-standing uncertainty in train bookings.
He said, “Getting a confirmed train ticket in India has always involved a degree of uncertainty and effort. With AI Seat Finder, we are reimagining this experience by making it conversational and outcome-driven. Instead of navigating multiple options and screens, users can now simply express their intent and let the app guide them to the best possible journey.”
He added that the initiative reflects the company’s push towards building an AI-first travel ecosystem tailored to Indian users.
The campaign will be promoted across digital platforms, television, social media and stadium integrations throughout the cricket season, strengthening the link between sports engagement and travel innovation.
With AI Seat Finder, ConfirmTkt is aiming to turn one of India’s most familiar travel frustrations into a simpler, more conversational experience, where finding a seat is less guesswork and more guided certainty.
