MUMBAI: Collective Artists Network has unveiled an AI-powered avatar of bestselling author Amish Tripathi, marking a fresh push into culturally rooted digital storytelling powered by emerging technology.

The virtual version of Tripathi will anchor a premium short-form content slate on a dedicated digital channel, focusing on history, mythology, philosophy and immersive narratives. The move aims to repackage India’s rich cultural heritage into engaging, modern formats for younger, digital-first audiences.

The initiative is being developed in collaboration with Historyverse, which will shape the storytelling approach. The idea is to go beyond straightforward retellings and instead build a distinctive content universe that blends depth with accessibility, all while retaining the author’s recognisable voice.

For Tripathi, whose work has long drawn from Indian traditions and epics, the shift to AI-led storytelling is a natural next step. Collective Artists Network author Amish Tripathi said, “Storytelling has always evolved with the times, and this is an exciting new frontier for me. The idea of using AI to expand how we engage with stories, making them more immersive and accessible, is something I’m very excited about.”

He added that the collaboration opens up new ways to reinterpret cultural narratives for contemporary audiences.

On the company’s side, the move aligns with a broader bet on the convergence of culture and technology. Collective Artists Network founder and group CEO Vijay Subramaniam said, “At Collective, we’ve always believed that the future of storytelling lies at the intersection of culture and technology. With Amish, we have a storyteller who has already transformed how young India engages with our epics and puranas.”

He noted that the AI avatar allows the company to scale storytelling while preserving authenticity, creating a content ecosystem that is both meaningful and widely accessible.

The AI-led slate is expected to roll out across digital platforms starting May 2026, as Collective Artists Network looks to carve out a new space where tradition meets tech, and timeless stories find a fresh voice.
