Gurugram: India’s AI ambitions are getting another accelerator. Cars24 Labs, the artificial intelligence innovation arm of Cars24, has partnered with Startup Policy Forum (SPF) to support AI policymaking, industry collaboration and the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across the country.

Under the partnership, Cars24 Labs will contribute to SPF’s AI initiatives through policy discussions, founder engagements, industry dialogues and global immersion programmes. The collaboration will also bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, academic institutions and global technology leaders to exchange ideas and share practical experiences of deploying AI at scale.

Cars24 Labs said the initiative reflects its ambition to contribute to India’s broader AI ecosystem beyond developing AI-powered products. The company plans to share insights gained from building AI solutions used by millions of customers while participating in conversations around responsible AI adoption and India’s emergence as a global AI hub.

The Startup Policy Forum represents more than 75 of India’s leading new-age companies and works on policy advocacy and ecosystem development for the country’s startup sector.

Cars24 builder Vikram Chopra said the company had always believed the best way to understand AI was by building with it. He said Cars24 Labs had gained valuable experience by integrating AI into products used by millions and that the partnership with Startup Policy Forum would enable it to share those learnings, learn from the wider ecosystem and contribute to shaping how India develops and adopts AI in the coming years.

Startup Policy Forum president and chief executive officer Shweta Rajpal Kohli said Cars24 had been a longstanding member of the alliance and had worked closely with the organisation on several policy initiatives. She added that Cars24 was among India’s most AI-focused startups and that the partnership with Cars24 Labs aligned with SPF’s goal of connecting India with global AI ecosystems, encouraging cross-border collaboration and accelerating AI adoption among Indian companies.

The partnership combines Cars24 Labs’ experience in developing AI-powered products with Startup Policy Forum’s policy expertise, as both organisations look to play a bigger role in shaping the next phase of AI innovation in India.
