Carat creates two new global roles as Stringer and Meuleman step up
Agency bolsters strategy, planning and innovation bench under Hanson
MUMBAI: Carat has carved out two fresh global positions and filled them with familiar faces. Sarah Stringer takes the newly created role of global chief strategy and innovation officer. Bram Meuleman moves up to global chief planning and intelligence officer.
Both appointments sit under Chrissie Hanson, Carat’s global brand president and North America media practice CEO. The agency says the dual move brings strategy, planning, intelligence and innovation closer together as clients navigate a fast-changing media world.
“Together, Sarah and Bram will connect culture, innovation and emerging opportunities with the intelligence, evidence and behavioural insight that power brilliant media planning,” the agency said in its announcement. “Working alongside global brand president Chrissie Hanson, they’ll help us design smarter, more meaningful experiences that drive growth for our clients.”
Meuleman struck a similar note in his own post. “The industry has spent years improving touch points, platforms and tech, but the thinking that connects them hasn’t kept up,” he wrote. “At Carat, we are doubling down on strategic planning.”
Stringer arrives with a track record in innovation, platform partnerships and the creator economy. Meuleman has long bridged media and creative, with a focus on turning strategic thinking into practical growth for clients.
The pair will work side by side to link cultural shifts and new opportunities with hard evidence and behavioural insight. Carat is betting the combination will deliver sharper planning and more meaningful campaigns.
In a market where attention is scarce and platforms multiply daily, the agency is putting clear ownership on the thinking that sits behind the media choices. Stringer and Meuleman now carry that brief on a global scale.
The appointments mark another step in Carat’s push to stay ahead of the noise. Clients will be watching to see what the new structure delivers.
