Bybit lands Fortune Crypto 100 spot as it accelerates new financial platform vision push
Fortune Crypto 100 lists Bybit as exchange expands into unified digital finance push
MUMBAI: Bybit has added another feather to its cap, or rather another coin to its vault, after being named in the inaugural Fortune Crypto 100, a ranking spotlighting the most influential players shaping the future of digital assets.
The recognition places the cryptocurrency exchange among leading firms building the backbone of the global crypto economy, particularly within the centralised finance category, which includes exchanges, custodians and lending platforms.
Reacting to the honour, Bybit chief executive officer Ben Zhou said the milestone reflects growing confidence in the platform and the wider industry.
“Crypto is becoming an integral part of the global financial system,” Bybit chief executive officer Ben Zhou said. “We are honoured to be recognised among the companies helping build the infrastructure, products and standards that will support its continued growth.”
Beyond the accolade, Bybit is positioning itself as more than just an exchange, pushing towards what it calls a “new financial platform” that blends digital assets, traditional finance, payments and tokenised investments into a single ecosystem.
The company has also been expanding its regulatory footprint across key markets, including securing licensing in the UAE and advancing its European operations under MiCAR, as it looks to strengthen trust and compliance in a fast-evolving sector.
“Trust is the foundation of every financial system,” Zhou added. “Innovation alone is not enough. The future of finance requires strong infrastructure, responsible regulation and products that serve real user needs.”
The Fortune Crypto 100 recognition underscores how rapidly crypto is moving into mainstream finance, with established platforms and emerging protocols increasingly shaping capital markets rather than operating on the fringes.
As competition intensifies, Bybit’s latest recognition signals both momentum and ambition, as it continues betting on a future where digital and traditional finance finally sit on the same table.
